Gentry -  Agaves of Continental North America
The classic book on the subject which describes the plants in great detail. Numerous B&W photos, sketches and maps, and just the one colour photo. 1982 10 ¼ x 7 ¼ 670 pages

Cover: Hardback
Comments: , The flaps of the dust jacket which tuck in to the book have been cut from the rest of the dust jacket, and inserted loose in the book with some wear. The main part of the dust jacket has then been covered with plastic which is stuck to the inside of the hard cover (and possibly stuck to the dust wrapper - hard to tell). Looking at it more closely, the main part of the dust jacket is in three parts - deliberately cut, not from wear, front, spine (which is slightly faded), and back. It has been neatly done - it was only by looking closely that I realised the three section cover. The advantage is that the dust wrapper has been long term protected, and looks like a laminated hardback book. It looks much better than the description might sound!, Second hand book – please see important information
